Fight Team: 

Fight team students practice in the regular classes to learn technique but also have fight team practice where they prepare for their respective fights.  Fighters are encouraged to work with JC Davis as well as the other high level competitors.  We have a very successful program and direction for our fighters.  Over 50 professional fighters have come out of the school.  We have had over 30 MMA Title Champions.  Some of our best have fought in UFC, Belitor, CFCC, XFC and Battle of the South to name a few venues.  One student was on the Ultimate Fighter, a couple have been on Strikeforce and other televised events.  We have a path to success if you have what it takes. 


Karate Tournament Team:

Upgraded program from the basic program.  Teaches students the rules and system for winning tournaments. 
Practices are separate from regular classes.  Classes are design for the sport alone.  The focus is to develop
a game plan to win your competition.  Covers kata, weapons forms, and sparring. 


 

BJJ Competition Team:

Upgraded program from the basic program.  Teaches students the rules and system for winning tournaments. 

Practices are separate from regular classes.  Classes are design for the sport alone.  The focus is to develop

a game plan to win your competition.  Covers both GI and No gi competition. 


SWAT Team patch (16 years old and older)

Be in Leadership Program and or Master’s Club

Be at least a Blue Belt in karate

Be able to perform and recite curriculum from white belt to yellow belt

Complete all activities from SWAT/STORM team manual

Have 25 teaching hours

Help with at least 10 lil dragon or little champions classes

Have introduced the martial arts and the school to friends

(bring them in for special events, or an introductory class, or a tour)

Be a positive role model

Recite the Instructor Creed

Have a SWAT agreement in place

 

STORM team patch (under 16 years old)

Be in Leadership Program and or Master’s Club

Complete all activities from SWAT/STORM team manual

Be at least an orange belt in karate

Be able to perform and recite curriculum from white to yellow belt

Be a positive role model

Be a helper in at least 10 lil dragon classes or little champions classes

 

Demo Team Patch

Be in Leadership Program and or Master’s Club

Come to Demonstration Team Practices

Perform a Demo team kata, skit, or tricks

Perform in at least 5 demonstrations

Have a Demo Team Agreement in Place


 

Assistant Instructor patch

Be in Leadership Program and or Master’s Club

Be a member of the SWAT Team

Be at least a Brown Belt in karate

Be able to perform and recite curriculum from white belt to Green Belt with a stripe

Have 100 hours of assisting in classes, demonstrations, introductory classes, or private lessons

Be able to teach the introductory class

Complete the instructor course Level1

Be able to teach the Self-defense Curriculum

 

Instructor Patch

Be in Leadership Program and or Master’s Club

Be a member of the SWAT Team

Be at least a Black Belt in karate

Be able to perform and recite curriculum from white belt to Brown Belt with two stripes

Have 100 hours of assisting in classes, demonstrations, introductory classes, or private lessons

Be able to run basic kickboxing class

Ability to run karate classes for all ages and levels up to Black Belt

Be able to teach the introductory class

Complete the Certified Instructor Training course

 

Black Belt Instructor

Must be a Certified Black Belt

Must have been an Assistant Instructor and Instructor

Must have 100 hours of teaching at Instructor level

Be able to perform and recite curriculum form white belt to Black Belt

Must be able to teach SWAT, STORM, Demo team practices

Must have complete the Psychology of Winning Class

Have completed all lower level instructor qualifications

Must be able to teach basic Self-defense Class

Must have comprehensive understanding of other styles of Martial Arts

 

Master Instructor Technician

Must be a Third Degree Black Belt

Must have assisted in teaching three students to earn their Black Belt

Master Instructor

Be a Fourth Degree Black Belt

Assist in teaching 5 students to earn Black Belt

Assist in teaching 3 students to earn 2nd Degree Black Belt

 

RED TAB ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR

Be a Blue Belt in BJJ or Pancrase

Be able to teach the entire Self-defense Curriculum from White Belt to Blue Belt

Be able to teach the grappling positions drill

Teach the kickboxing introductory class

Assist in 25 classes kids and adults

RED TAB INSTRUCTOR

Be a Purple Belt in BJJ or Pancrase

Be able to teach the entire Self-defense Curriculum from White Belt to Blue Belt
